Article 6 - DATA WE COLLECT:

The MindReset Mobile App does not collect any personally identifiable information. There is no login, registration, or account creation required. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other information that could identify you as an individual.

The following types of anonymous data may be collected:

a) App Usage Analytics: We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous data about how users interact with the Mobile App. This may include information such as app events, session duration, device type, operating system version, and general app performance data. This information is collected in an aggregated, anonymous form and cannot be used to identify you personally.

b) Eye Movement Tracking Data: With your permission, the Mobile App accesses the front-facing camera solely for the purpose of eye movement tracking. No video or image data is captured, stored, or transmitted. Only the resulting movement output data (such as x,y coordinate patterns) may be collected anonymously for general research and analysis purposes. This data is not tied to any individual user and cannot be used to identify you.

c) In-App Purchases: If you make an In-App Purchase, all billing and payment processing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store. We do not collect, store, or process any payment or billing information directly.

Article 7 - EYE TRACKING AND CAMERA USE:

The Mobile App, with your permission, opens the front-facing camera for the purpose of implementing eye movement tracking technology as part of the core functionality of the app. This eye tracking is performed locally on your own device. No video or image data is captured, stored, or sent to any server at any time.

Eye tracking output data describing the movement patterns of the eyes (such as x,y coordinates) during certain stages within the Mobile App may be collected anonymously and transmitted to our servers for general research purposes. This data is not linked to any specific user, device identifier, or personal information of any kind.

Article 8 - FIREBASE ANALYTICS:

We use Google Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to help us understand how users interact with the Mobile App. Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage data such as app events, session length, device type, and operating system version. This data is collected in aggregated form and does not include any personally identifiable information.

Firebase Analytics may use a unique app-instance identifier to aggregate usage statistics. This identifier is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you personally. Data collected by Firebase is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

For more information on how Google collects and processes data, please review Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Article 9 - THIRD PARTIES:

We use Google Firebase as our sole third-party service provider for analytics purposes, as described in Article 8 above. We do not share, sell, or otherwise transfer any data to other third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Notwithstanding the above, we may provide data to a third party in order to protect the rights, property or safety of us, our users or third parties, or as otherwise required by law.

Article 10 - HOW DATA IS STORED AND RETAINED:

We use secure digital systems to store anonymous data. We take all reasonable steps to protect data against unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction.

Please note that no system involving the transmission of information via the internet or the electronic storage of data is completely secure. However, we take the protection and storage of data very seriously and take all reasonable steps to safeguard it.

The following retention periods apply to the data we collect:

Firebase Analytics Data: Anonymous analytics data is retained for a period of 14 months. The retention period is reset with each new session or event generated within the Mobile App. After 14 months of inactivity, this data is automatically deleted by Google Firebase.

Eye Tracking Data: Eye movement output data (x,y coordinate patterns) is retained indefinitely as fully anonymized research data. This data contains no user identifier, no device identifier, and no information of any kind that could be used to link it to any individual. Because it is genuinely anonymous and cannot be attributed to any person, it is not subject to personal data retention obligations under applicable law, and is retained solely for ongoing scientific research and app improvement purposes.

Article 11 - PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING:

We collect and use anonymous data for the following purposes:
